No harmful chemicals
Shawi never uses perchloroethylene (PERC), a known carcinogen for humans and animals, and commonly used in dry cleaners.
We save water and energy
Our high-efficiency equipment uses much less water and energy than other commercial washing machines, all without compromising cleaning quality.
We reuse hooks and bags
We are happy to collect, reuse and recycle any metal hooks and plastic bags that are used to protect Shawi's orders.
OUR STORY
Why did we start Shawi?
During 2021, Poncho, Julia and Berely began helping a friend with their laundry so they could connect their service center to their users during the pandemic. After some initial tests, and some iterations, they realized the enormous area of opportunity that existed to connect other service centers to their end users through a digital channel.
In 2023, Juan Alonso joined and Shawi was officially founded to provide people with a world-class laundry and dry cleaning experience, while empowering and growing alongside industry-leading local service centers.
Today we are building the largest laundry network in Mexico and the first recognized digital brand in garment care so you can spend more time doing the things you love while we take care of the dirty clothes. 😎
